Broker/Owner

 

As the Broker/Owner of Market South Management, Gary not only provides the strategic direction of the company, but is also involved in the day to day operation of the business. This “hands-on” management style ties him to all aspects of the daily operation, which includes the residential and commercial management as well as the association management component of the business.

Having earned his Georgia Salespersons Real Estate License in 1980 and his Broker’s License in 1983, Gary draws on his 30-plus years of experience in the real estate industry. Prior to 1980, he was employed by IBM Corporation where he received valuable marketing and management experience.

Gary and his wife, Susan, have owned and managed several successful real estate companies. In 2003, they decided to position their real estate firm to focus solely on professional property management services in the Greater Savannah Area. Gary strives to provide a full service package for owner/investors and associations who need professional management services.

In order to provide premier client services, Gary is a member of the National Association of Realtors (NAR), the Georgia Association of Realtors (GAR) and the Savannah Area Board of Realtors (SABOR) where is a Past Director. Most important is his membership in the National Association of Residential Property Managers (NARPM) where he is active in the Atlanta Chapter. Gary is also Past President of the Dublin Board of Realtors.

Gary and Susan both graduated from Auburn University in 1973 and have lived in Savannah since 1995. They have 2 adult children.

Office Coordinator
Deana is a native of Savannah. She graduated from St Vincent’s academy and attended Armstrong Atlantic State University. In 1999 she started working in Property Management as an administrative assistant. Deana has worn many hats for this company through the years. She has been a property manager, bookkeeper, and receptionist and is now our office coordinator. When she is not at work she enjoys spending time with her husband and three children. She is very active in the Irish Community and loves to garden.

Property Manager for Southside, Midtown, Islands
State Licensed Real Estate Agent
Diane has been a resident of Richmond Hill since 1984. In 1986 she became a Realtor and worked for ReMax for 17 years. While there she got her first taste of property management. Diane joined us earlier this year and manages our properties on the Islands, Ardsley area  and much of Southside Savannah. When she is not in the office she enjoys shopping for a good deal and spending time with her grandson.

Community Association Manager
State Licensed Real Estate Agent
Don is a native of Savannah spending most of his professional career in Broadcast advertising sales.  He became a Georgia licensed Real Estate agent in 2005 and began his career as a Community Association Manager for Market South Management (formerly Mopper Stapen Management) in 2007.  Don has over 40 hours of continuing education from the Georgia Real Estate commission devoted specifically to Association Management.  Don currently manages over 20 Condominium and Homeowner Associations and has assisted many Boards with all of the challenges they face including collections, maintenance & repairs, Covenant enforcement and more.  Let us know how Don can help your Association.

Bookkeeping & Account Manager
A transplant from the Midwest, Sydney moved to Savannah in 1998 and started working in accounting for an industrial company. She joined Market South Management (formerly Mopper Stapen management) in 2005 and serves as our Bookkeeping & Accounts Manager for Property Management as well as Association Management. Sydney brings years of prior administrative, accounting and customer service skills and is a valuable employee and a real asset to our firm, our clients and our customers. Sydney also enjoys reading, and crafting in her spare time. She is a proud Notre Dame alumna. GO IRISH!

Maintenance
Cliffondra relocated from Detroit to Savannah in 2009 and began working part-time for Market South Management (formerly Mopper Stapen Management) in the fall of 2010 and has since become our full time Front Desk Administrative Assistant.  She brings 12 years of Administrative and Customer Service skills to her new position, while pursuing her B.A. in Business Management from AASU & Savannah State.  She is also the proud mother of 3 wonderful children and in her spare time enjoys family activities and shopping.  She brings a great personality and a strong desire to help our clients and customers with their housing needs.

HOA & Accounting - Administrative Assistant
Michelle has called Tybee Island home until recently moving in-land with her husband.  She has over 3 years of Property and HOA management experience and brings over 10 years of administrative assistance and customer service experience to our firm. Michelle is working in support of our Community Association Manager in addition to administrating the accounting activities for our Homeowner Associations. She has a wonderful sense of organization and attention to detail. She is the proud mom of three needy cats and one rambunctious husky.

Property Manager
Parker moved to Savannah in 1995 from Dublin, GA and attended Newberry College on a football scholarship. Parker has over 7 years of property management experience in both single and multi-family housing, and he specializes in our listings throughout the Islands, Midtown, and East Savannah. In his free time he enjoys fishing, live music, playing golf, kayaking, and Auburn Football. When he isn’t in the office, Parker can usually be found playing with his German Shorthaired Pointer, Walker.

Associate Broker
Sean is originally from the UK. He became an American Citizen 2 years ago (this was one the greatest experiences of his life) and has made his home in Savannah for the past 20 Years. Having been educated in the UK he spent most of his younger life visiting his parents all over the world as his father worked in the oil industry. Sean has been the Broker for his own real estate company for the past 20 years and brings an abundance of experience in Residential, Commercial and Property Management real estate. He has represented both the Savannah Board of Realtors and Savannah Multi List Board as President on a volunteer basis and also on the State level heading up the contract and forms committee. Sean is also a member of the CCIM commercial real estate network and the local commercial board of realtors.  At Market South Management Sean will be spear heading the Commercial division and growing the Maintenance division. In his spare time Sean enjoys flying as an Instrument rated pilot, playing tennis, golf and relaxing with his wife and their son “Cooper” the West Highland white terrier.

Community Association Manager
Miki has lived in Savannah for 6 years after moving here from Big Canoe, GA. She received her BS Biotechnology specializing in Genetics. She has been a board member of her Homeowner’s Association for 5 years and President for the last year. She is now a Licensed Community Association Manager with over 40 hours of specific association training from the Georgia Real Estate commission. She currently manages over 15 Condominium and Homeowner Associations and has assisted many Boards with all of the challenges they face. In her free time you can find her out working with the Tybee Island Sea Turtle Project, doing homework for her MBA or out with her husband and three dogs enjoying Savannah’s great weather.

Originally from Central New York State, Paul moved to Savannah in 2008 to be closer to his family.  He brings with him 17 years of liability and property insurance claims handling. Paul currently manages our Historic Savannah, Downtown properties. When not at work, Paul can usually be found renovating his own home or rental property with his son. Paul also enjoys traveling, music, his pets, power tools, and the outdoors.

Marketing Coordinator / Administrative Assistant

Jessi-Lyn is a recent transplant from Canada. She has settled in the Savannah area after several years of travelling around the continent and studying. She is a graduate from the University of Manitoba and National University with studies in Anthropology, and Classic, Medieval, and Renaissance History. She is currently working on her Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing. Along with novel writing, Jessi-Lyn also spends her time hiking and camping where she draws inspiration for designing knit projects, roadtrip photography, and re-fabricating old furniture. Jessi-Lyn is in charge of our web presence. She writes content, populates websites, lists properties, and much more. She also acts as our receptionist, and greets everyone who comes into our office with a glowing smile.
